Kerr Street Mission Golf Tournament

Kerr St Mission Golf Tournament

Well, Kerr Street Mission Classic Golf Tournament came and went last week. Despite a deluge of rain causing delayed play, spirits weren’t dampened. While building custom homes for families is our business in Oakville, partnering with Kerr Street we feel like we are working in the same vein because, for most of us the family is the home!!

All those who contributed received this gratifying note from Heidi at Kerr Street Ministries….. it speaks for itself.

“…Thank you for joining us for a great day at the Kerr Street Mission Classic Golf Tournament last week. Although we didn’t have sunny skies – the wet weather didn’t seem to hamper our spirits. Thank you all for your patience and positive attitudes as we “weathered the weather!” We have already put in an ask for sunshine for next year!

Outside of the wet weather, we were so grateful to be able to spend a special evening with you all to celebrate some fun golf victories, and an inspiring evening. We were so blessed to have two sports legends – Chuck Ealey and Paul Henderson with us and hear their stories of hope. We were also happy to have Layne, The Auctionista back with us this year to help us raise money and keep us all entertained. Thank you again for your generous support of our live and silent auction and raffle. Wonder what we will have in store for you all next year? Stay tuned for details on our 2020 Golf Tournament.

We are very excited to share that through your support we have raised $90,000 for Kerr Street Mission. Amazing! All funds raised will help continue to fund our After School Program which provides care for over 30 children and their families. We were sorry our KSM kids couldn’t join us last week – but they are so thankful for all the support and funds your help raised!
